This place is the worst. I was traveling today from Omaha to Chicago. We made a stop at this place for transfer. As our bus arrived and we started boarding, I noticed that I left some of my stuff inside in the waiting area. It was 5:03pm at the time and I decided to run back inside to grab my stuff given that I was inside just 5 minutes ago. I was shocked to realize that they already had locked the doors. I saw an employee sitting on his phone right next to the door dans I begged him to let me in so I could grab my belongings left behind. I guess they closed at 5:00pm so he refused to let me back in and despite my multiple attempts to get his attention and I was literally begging him to let me in for 30 seconds just so I could grab my stuff, he instead decided to ignore me and got back on his phone. Now I am headed to Chicago with half of my stuff stuck in Davenport, IA and I am sure it’s lost by now. I mean I get it customer service has never been their strongest suit but locking me outside when I was in there just 5min prior to that is insane. These employees need to understand that they get paid with our hard earned money. I guess I should’ve known better. NEVER in my life again I am booking a transportation ticket that goes through there.

I use to utilize the grounds transportation center a lot when I first moved here in Iowa 10 years ago. Now it is just ridiculous, busses don't run like they should, the original driver's have been replaced somehow. They changed up all the bus routes and made it harder to access their busses in a timely manner. Taking the Citi bus you will be mad, angry and upset at the same time.
So many of my neighbors have moved away, because of this. Worse of all, they will cut bus services at any time that they feel like it and leave you stranded late in the evening. Depends on were you're at, you might have to walk home sometimes. ?‍‍‍?

I tried to ship a package to New York via Burlington trail ways. It was a large package as it contained a spinning wheel. It was valued at $350. Someone at the bus depot lost this large package and Has not been able to trace it For me even though I shipped it 3 months ago.
I have called their Burlington office every week for the past 2 and a 1/2 months and no one has been able to trace the package or find it for me. Today when I called they said the lady who could help me was on maternity leave for several months. Her supervisor was on vacation for a week and a 1/2 And no one else was able to help me.
I've given this a very very bad review and recommend never ever shipping anything on Burlington Trailways.

They OPEN at 9:30 a.m. way after anyone is at work. Davenport hares their homeless you can tell!! Real sad downtown.

Public transportation sucks. That being said, this place does the best they can. Plenty of comfortable seating, clean restrooms, lots of interesting characters
