I would like to thank Independent Snowboard School for these wonderful and enriching lessons taken with Laya, a talented teacher. We all learned and progressed very quickly thanks to Laya's wise advice without it being too academic, we had a really fun time ?

Booking with Independent was super easy and convenient. Although I asked for a next day reservation they were able to provide options.
By the start of my 4 days I could barely stand on the board and by the end I could confidently go down red and some black runs.
Laia, my instructor, was patient and friendly which helped me feel confident in the mountain. Before each run, on the lift, she thought me some concepts which we practiced going down. During each run she was actively providing useful feedback and I was amazed to find out I could get significant progress from the start to the end of a single run!
Thanks for helping me make the most out of my visit to Verbier’s beautiful mountains.

I joined 2 lessons offered to seasonaires in Verbier. The lessons were organised quickly, fine-tuned to the levels of the participants and all that in a super friendly environment. I was with the instructor Javi who is super knowledgeable and gave me great tips about these little details to help me ride even better. I highly recommend Independent Snowboarding School if you want to snowboard in a welcoming state of mind, no matter your level!

I would definitely recommend this. From the start Roland gave me amazing tips, with those tips I immediately improved my posture and control over my snowboard. Roland is a great teacher, snowboarder and a amazing guy to chat with! At the start i was not comfortable on blue slopes, but now i can even ride red and some easy black slopes, with just 6 hours of lessons, overall it was an amazing experienced, i learned more than i could ever imagine!

I’ve had a great experience with Independent Snowboard School! The team consists of passionate snowboarders, with a very broad experience and local knowledge of the amazing terrain Verbier has to offer. I had the pleasure of both Rowland and Tom teaching and guiding me over a few days; they both helped me to improve my skills and gain confidence in different terrains and weather. I highly recommend them!

Always a good time with independant! Whatever the workshop i pop in, it’s spent with lots of good info,advice and fun and I always feel improvement at the end of every sessions!
