Very enjoyable 3 night stay here. Location is the key, close to downtown and the beach. Tower 39 on top floor of hotel is great for sunset/star watching. The one night we were treated to full Moon and Venus on display. Breakfast was more than adequate. Parking is tight (underneath the hotel) but manageable unless you drive an oversized vehicle. Not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for here.

We stayed in one of the rooms with an ocean view balcony. The hotel is only 3 levels high, so it is not the greatest view but you can still see the ocean and the sunset one direction and the mountains toward the north. The location in Carlsbad Village is great. Walk the beach just a block away and all the local restaurants are within a few blocks. We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely great location. Right next to Carlsbad village and the beach. The hotel was modern, clean, and pretty well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was good and the staff did an excellent job keeping up with the busy breakfast room.

We have stayed here a few times, and I love it! It has been my favorite of all the hotels that I have stayed at recently. So comfortable, very clean, the furnishings are nice and new, and you can’t beat the location. I always go running along the ocean, right across the street. There is so so much food and shopping within walking distance, it’s really fun. The staff at the hotel is always wonderful. I highly recommend.

This review is LONG overdue! Paola and team are AH-mazing! We had 18 families stay here for a soccer tournament and the service we received was top notch. From the last minute room changes and meeting room requests, their staff made it happen without complaint. Our team has stayed here 3 times and we have always had a great experience. We will definitely be back. Don't get me started on the location. Talk about prime real estate. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel and the people that work here. 10/10 experience. If you are looking for a great place to stay for your group, look no further!

I come to this property frequently for work and bring clients. Their service, friendliness, and willingness to make each stay unique and the best experience. I have had better treatment at this property than received at high end resorts in the area. I cannot say enough about the staff and location.

I forgot to mention one other individual that is an outstanding human and employee. Paolo is the best of the best!

We only stayed 1 night after a Legoland trip and wish we stayed longer. Very homey, very clean with a nice free breakfast selection in a great part of Carlsbad (about a minute walk from the beach). Staff were helpful and friendly. It is a smaller hotel but really, one of the best hotels we've stayed at - just can't beat that homey atmosphere.
